Roy Brandell, M.D.
Roy A. Brandell, M.D., joined Urology Specialists of Wisconsin in 2001, seeing patients in Wausau and Wisconsin Rapids. He is certified through the American Board of Urology. Dr. Brandell went to college at Washington University in St. Louis followed by medical school at Northwestern University in Chicago. He completed a urology residency at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, TN and a fellowship in male infertility and microsurgery at the New York Hospital, Cornell Medical Center in New York City. Prior to moving to Wisconsin, he served as an Assistant Professor of Urology at the University of Kansas Medical Center in Kansas City.
While Dr. Brandell has extensive experience in all areas of adult and pediatric urology such as erectile dysfunction, kidney stones, urologic cancers and urinary incontinence, he has a special interest and expertise in male infertility. This includes vasectomy, microsurgical vasectomy reversal, and microsurgical repair of varicoceles.
He is married, with two grown daughters and resides on the southeast side of Wausau. He enjoys reading, the arts, sports, making stained glass windows, and going for long walks with his wife.
