Joseph W. Babiarz, M.D., F.A.C.S., earned his Bachelor of Science degree in biochemistry from Michigan State University in 1983 and his medical degree from the University of Michigan in 1987. He completed his urologic residency at Henry Ford Hospital in 1992 and then studied at the UCLA Health Sciences Center earning a fellowship in Female Urology and Reconstruction. He is the only physician in central Wisconsin subspecialty certified by the American Urological Association and the American Urogynecologic Society in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery for the full spectrum treatment of female pelvic organ prolapse and incontinence. He has practiced in central Wisconsin since 1993. He has advanced training in robotic kidney surgery as well. He has lectured and taught practicing physicians in Haiti in the repair of vesicovaginal fistula. Dr. Babiarz is married with 3 children and enjoys traveling with his family, downhill skiing, hockey, fitness and nutrition and is a passionate crossfitter. He wishes he was musically inclined and could play guitar.
